new shop… Recently purchase a shop in South Providence, we are setting up a more functional wood working shop. We hope you all will visit during our open house later on this spring.  Here’s a picture of our latest addition, an 11 ft bed for our lathe. Now we can make turned products up to 10 ft long…

copper lining for gutter on a 1850′s house. completed several years ago, you can see the copper beggining to change colors, it will eventually get the green “patina”, usually takes 6 or 7 years.

A custom made “scupper”, collects the rain water and puts it into a downspout

2 story addition.

This addition, in Coventry RI, will add a new bedroom and an exercise room to the existing house.  Begun late last fall we hope to complete by the middle of February.

New Dormers, historic district

one of last summer’s projects. Added 2 new dormers and windows to this  2 1/2 story house in a historic district in providence.

Kingston Ave. Entry porch renovation

Entry porch renovation. Kingston Ave. Providence.   Replaced frame and installed new mahogany steps and decking.

153 Ontario St., Providence, RI – Custom Wood Panel Restoration

Utilizing staging from Casa Buena Builders, Inc., Wayne Trissler of the Providence Revolving Fund painstakingly restored the large wood panel carving above the front entry way to 153 Ontario St. in Providence, RI. After the restoration, our painters finished the final touches.

49 Powhatan St., Providence, RI – New Roof and Dormers

During the recent storm in Providence, RI, the roof of 49 Powhatan St. was severely damaged. Casa Buena Builders, in consultation with the Providence Historic District Commission, repaired and replaced the damaged roof, and added two dormers as well. Below is some pictures of the soon to be completed project.
